JILIWIN Responsible Gaming: Limits, Warning Signs and Help
JILIWIN responsible gaming begins before you open the lobby, with three decisions you make while you are calm. Gambling is for people aged 21 or older, and it is never a source of income. PAGCOR, the Philippine regulator, puts it the same way: gambling is not a source of income.
Limits to set before you play
Write these down before the first spin, and treat them as fixed.
- A time limit. Pick the length of the session first and set an alarm on your phone.
- A budget. Decide the amount you can lose without touching rent, food, school fees or bills, and bring only that.
- A loss stop. When the budget is gone, the session is over, whatever the next spin might do.
Worked example: a budget of PHP 500 and a limit of 45 minutes means you stop at whichever comes first. PAGCOR’s own reminders add two more: never borrow money or use all of your resources for gambling, and do not chase your losses.
Signs it is time to stop
PAGCOR’s page describes problem gambling in plain terms. Watch for these:
- Spending or betting more than you meant to, or playing for longer than you planned.
- Trying again and again to win back what you lost.
- Debt, missed bills, or borrowing and selling belongings to keep playing.
- Thinking about gambling constantly, or seeing family relationships suffer.
- Feeling hopeless, anxious or depressed about it.
One sign is enough to close the lobby for the day. Several together are the moment to talk to someone.
PAGCOR’s exclusion programme
PAGCOR runs two programmes, and its page states the terms.
| Programme | Who applies | Periods you can request |
|---|---|---|
| Self Exclusion | You, for yourself | 6 months, 1 year or 5 years |
| Family Exclusion | A spouse, child or parent | 6 months, 1 year or 3 years |
For self exclusion, the first six months is irrevocable, and the order lifts automatically when the period ends. PAGCOR states the exclusion is implemented across all sites licensed and operated by PAGCOR. Applications need a government-issued photo ID, and PAGCOR’s page lists the other requirements and the online application portal at osea.pagcor.ph.
Where to find help
PAGCOR’s pages list accredited help centres, among them the National Problem Gambling helpline at (02) 8248 9568, Gamblers Anonymous Philippines and Gam-Anon Philippines for families. Read the current list on PAGCOR’s own responsible gaming page before you call.
If you are in distress, talk to a family member or someone you trust today.
Inside the lobby
Your own account screens, after you sign in, are the place to look for any limit tools the lobby provides, and its live chat can answer how they work. For the lobby overview, read how the JILIWIN casino lobby is laid out, and for the rules of this site, read the JILIWIN team terms.
